I do agree that the full day off is tough. We’ve worked around this for candidates where we’ve had them come in later in the day or early and then jet early. For us, we have a maniacal focus on culture which is something that was here long before I began. Again, I go back to my previous job where we did an hour and half interview, no homework and were expected to give a thumbs up or down within an hour post-interview. That approach just killed the team so for me, having been on both ends of the spectrum, this way tends to work out best for us. I do agree though, it can be tricky… we try to be as accommodating as possible. What does your interview history / experience look like?
